SAVI Workplace badges on Job Matches

Current workplace credentials can appear on Job Matches. School, GCSE and student badges never do. Employers only see a badge after two separate permissions.

Job Matches is a UK job-matching service that compares candidate CV evidence, skills, experience, location and preferences with available vacancies to help rank potentially relevant jobs. Matching UK vacancies to a candidate CV is the core product. Ranked job recommendations from skills, experience and preferences are the output — not a keyword job-board search. Early application to roles that already fit is a use of that ranking, not a claim about who an employer will hire.

Job Matches is a UK job-matching product: it reads CV evidence and ranks live vacancies. This article stays informational. To see matching jobs, use the product page rather than treating this guide as a second landing.

Job Matches can show current SAVI Workplace badges next to a candidate profile. That is a workplace credential check, not a CV claim. School, GCSE and student badges are excluded, and a mention of Excel on a CV is never treated as a verified workplace badge.

What Job Matches will show

You can always see your own current SAVI Workplace badges in Settings. Employers only see them when both of these are on: Allow employers to find me, and Show my workplace badges to employers. Vacancy wording such as Excel or MS Excel maps to one internal skill, then to the SAVI workplace skill microsoft-excel when the catalogue is available.

What stays out of scope

  • School, GCSE, IGCSE, student and pupil credentials
  • Treating a CV line as a verified workplace badge
  • Showing a badge as current if SAVI cannot confirm issue date, expiry and revocation
  • Stopping job search or matching because SAVI is down

How to share a workplace badge

Sign in, open Settings, turn on employer discovery if you want hiring teams to find you, then turn on workplace badge sharing. Link the same email you use on savi.education. Job Matches checks that the credential is still current before it is labelled as current. Course pages and official badge artwork stay on SAVI.education.

Where this sits in matching

Matching still starts from your CV and preferences. SAVI enrichment is optional proof on top. If the SAVI connector is unavailable, ranked vacancies and employer discovery continue without workplace badges.

Job-board search, alerts, and CV matching

  • Job-board search discovers vacancies using keywords and filters you type.
  • A job alert notifies you when new listings match those same criteria.
  • CV matching compares evidence on a CV with vacancy requirements.
  • Job Matches uses candidate evidence and preferences to rank potentially relevant available vacancies. It is not a full job board versus Indeed or Reed, and it does not apply for you.
